Welcome to Chemistry I. I am so excited about teaching you and the awesome things you will learn this semester. Below you will find a list of items that you need for this class.
I would like for all students to have their supplies by the end of the first full school week.
Items for Class
pens and pencils - you may use either during class, however for testing you MUST have a pencil
notebook paper
1 pack of copy paper - all of your notes will be presented using PowerPoint presentations. If you bring in a pack of copy paper I can run off the notes on the copy machine. If you do not wish to bring a pack of copy paper you can simply take the notes on notebook paper.
*if you have a laptop and wish to simply download the notes and use your laptop you may do this also. It is YOUR responsibility to have a jump drive so that I can download the notes. If for some reason you cannot use your laptop, for example you forget it one morning, you will be required to take with the old fashioned pencil. You do remember those, right?
- 1 1/2 to 2 inch binder
- highlighter
- scientific calculator - if you have a graphing calculator this will work, but you do NOT have to purchase a graphing calculator for this class. You simply need a calculator that has scientific functions. the package will state "scientific calculator".
