Download videos from YouTube for classroom use:
1. Get the Xilosoft YouTube Video Downloader software here (free download) - Install this on your home computer After installation, run the software. The browser should automatically open the YouTube interface and allow you to search for videos. When you find one you'd like to download, copy the URL of the video (Ctrl C) into the "New Download" option on the File menu (If you copied correctly, the address should automatically fill in for you. After it's downloaded, click the "Downloaded" link on the left to see the videos you've downloaded. Note each one shows the path where the actual video file is saved. Copy or move this file to a flash drive for use at school.
2. Get the FLV player (free download) - Install this on your school computer to view videos.
