- Students, there are many opportunities for scholarships available. Please check in Guidance or follow the link here for more information.

| SENIORS ONLY |
- If you have still not ordered your cap and gown for graduation, you have until March 15th to order and not have to pay a late fee; however; orders now must be made on a different form and sent to a different address. Those order forms will be given to your homeroom teacher. Orders for other graduation supplies will be delivered mid-March. Please have the balance due on your order by then. The exact date will be announced and posted 2 weeks in advance.
- Graduation invitations and supplies will be delivered on Wednesday, March 17 during lunch. Please bring your balance due on this day. Balances must be paid to receive your cap and gown. The balance owed is listed outside the teacher's lounge and D9.
- Senior picture debt will be placed on the student debt list against graduation this week. These students need to pay for and pick up senior pictures: John Lee Moore, G.P. Lloyd, Chelsea Parker.

- PICK UP PICTURES IN JOURNALISM:
- SOPHOMORES: Your Class of 2012 t-shirts are now on sale! Shirts are only $10 and can be ordered from Ms. Durrance in C4. Shirts must be paid for when you place your order. The deadline to order is Tuesday, March 16th.
- Juniors will be dismissed from school on Friday, March 12th.
- Journalism applications for the 2010-2011 school year are available in Guidance. Applications must be turned in to Journalism by 3:00 TODAY. Staff members will be notified before spring break if selected. Journalism is open to students in 10th, 11th and 12th grades who are responsible, able to handle deadlines, and are creative and/or are good writers.
- Time for the Spring Bloodmobile. If you are 17 years old and weigh 110lbs, please consider donating blood on Tuesday, March 30th. Come see Mrs. Hurst before Spring break for information and forms. You never know when someone in your family or your friends need blood---Lifeline needs your help.
- The National Honor Society will again be collecting candy-filled Easter eggs for the Ronald McDonald House. Eggs will be collected through April 7th and need to be turned in to Mrs. Leonard in D16. If you have any questions see any NHS member or Mrs. Leonard. This is a requirement for all NHS members.
- Crystal Wilson and Dakota Chandler need to see Mrs. Hurst sometime this week for HOSA Convention.
- Congratulations to the following students for their success at the 2010 DECA State Conference; These students qualified for the DECA International Career Development Conference: Josh Tatum and Dalton Parker-Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team Event, Cody Miller-Business Services Individual Series Event. These student will travel to Louisville, KY April 24-27 for national competition! Congratulations to the 2009-2010 MCHS DECA Chapter for their Gold Level Membership Award!

| ATHLETICS |
- Basketball cheerleader applications are in the front office and should be picked up ASAP. The required parents' meeting is Thursday, March 11th at 6:30 in the library. Applications must be turned in at that time. Football applications will be available in the front office today.

- 7:20 AM - There will be a library club meeting in the library.
- 3:15 PM - Junior class officers need to meet with Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Dean in D6 .
- 6:30 PM - Required parents meeting for all students trying out for cheerleading in the library.
