Congratulations to Robin Matlock who received the Kenny Walker Memorial Award at the basketball banquet tonight. Robin is the daughter of Rickey and Linda Matlock. Shown with Robin and her parents is Wilburn Gene Ashe, who presented the award.

The award is named after Kenny Walker, who would have been a 1987 graduate. Kenny was in a fatal car accident at the beginning of his senior year. He was a member of the "Phi Slamma Jamma" club at MCHS, an outstanding athlete, and a great friend.
