Lady Cats are hot, hot, hot!
On August 25 the Lady Cats opened their season at home when they hosted the visiting Lexington Tigers. Despite the heat, the Lady Cats defeated the Tigers 3-1. Charmika Franklin had 2 goals and Katie Forsythe had 1 to lead the Lady Cats to victory. View game photos here. On August 27, the Lady Cats traveled to cross-county rival Adamsville to face the Lady Cardinals. The match-up proved an easy win for the Bobcats, winning by a score of 7-1. Junior Katie Forsythe said it was an easy win. "Our team challenge was just to play as a team, and we did." The Cats will travel to Chester County on September 1 for a district game. Game time is 5:00. Sept. 1 - The Lady Cats continue their winning streak, cruising past the Chester County Eagles 6-3. |
